Funkdubie.com - The Self-proclaimed Adventurers!
There's nothing like it in the whole world.
Where else can you take two kids and tragically rip them from their video games and televisions and actually make them HAPPY to do it?! Camping is something that too many Americans don't get enough of! There's nothing like the crackling of a campfire to bring a family together. I mean, there's nothing to do but talk to each other! In the 'down time' you have the luxury of fishing and hiking, vastly overlooked and underrated by the public at large. We, personally, have found a haven in our freedom of sleeping in the wild. Ok, so we use tents, but it's still roughing it! And like the horrible cliche says: If you're too tense, try taking the kids and sleeping in two tents! Ok, I just made that up, but it is SURELY a horrible cliche.
I don't have nearly enough pictures of our camping trips... I'm the moron who forgets the camera, so blame me - I have broad shoulders and can carry that burden!
This was the trip we'll all talk about later! It was late April in Southern Tennessee... it's SUPPOSED to be warm out. Noooooo. Not for us! Take a look at these and you'll see just how warm it was!
